The number of data points per boxplot varies with the number of genes. For example, the 25-genes model condition has 400 data points per boxplot (20 incomplete genes across 20 replicates), whereas the 200-gene model condition has 3000 data points per boxplot (150 incomplete genes across 20 replicates)
